Hi John,

I'm just getting familiar with Flex and noticed that you posted a solution to an issue I am encountering myself. I am in the process of creating a Flex-based site but also find it easier to have certain Flash based components for better control and quicker creation. For example, a custom header navigation bar built with buttons in Flash.

Could you provide some more information or possible example files that show a button using your MCButton class. If I have it right, you create that class as an .AS file and link it to the button you create in Flash. Is the button in Flash a button symbol or a movieclip with 4 frames with each frame's label being the "state"?

I am going to try a few things but if you would be willing to give me any pointers I'd really appreciate it.

Take care,
Matt
